If you value your time and money, don't go there. My experience using Joanne has been nothing but amazing. She handled my divorce from my ex partner with care and professionalism and despite my ex making everything as difficult as possible we got there in the end thanks to her advice. Highly recommend anyone going through a divorce to use Joanne at Brodies. Garry Sturrock worked on my case and was very professional, friendly and efficient throughout. would highly recommend. Also found his associates to be efficient and friendly. Very much appreciated during a difficult time throughout the proceedings. Very professional service, welcoming and helpful. Modern office with car parking available on request. Excellent team. Lydia was my solicitor throughout a divorce. Her advice was sound, she responded promptly to every query I had and I learnt a lot from her about how to handle things in a way that was assertive but fair. All documents for the divorce she dealt with were completed thoroughly and swiftly. After listening to her advice over several months, I now have the confidence to ensure i behave appropriately and in a way I am proud of, while making sure i don't get walked over. I have tried to respond to every email I have received from my ex since our divorce in a way that Lydia would and it has made me stronger and more self-asssured even after Lydia and I have parted ways. Dealt with Sophie Richardson at very late notice and she absolutely went over and above her duty!! Very happy with the outcome and will be forever grateful for her last minute help. We have dealt with Garry twice now and both times he has been helpful and courteous, even though this was a long emotional sensitive case. Both times our cases have been in our favour I love Brodies, the shops are great and well stocked. The restaurant, staff,food, and service are amazing. Brodies took me and got me into nearly £40,000 worth of debt. They knew I couldn’t afford it they knew how desperate I was and took advantage of me. They’re sending balliffs to my house and will likely make me go bankrupt. I’ve tried to negotiate with them. They didn’t even do a good job. They admitted to personally knowing the other solicitor. Gave bad advice and ignored what I asked them to do which would have ended the case a lot sooner. They dragged a case out of a poor skint and desperate dad out and allowed a debt to spiral out of control. Please other parents. Stay away they don’t have your best interest at heart. Associate Lawyer Kate Bradbury of Brodies represented me regarding a co-habitation dispute. She was extremely professional and supportive throughout, ensuring she had an understanding of my individual circumstances. Kate also ensured that she was efficient whilst providing her services so that I didn't have to pay for any more of her time than necessary.
