Chris has been involved with dogs since 1979. He has competed in AKC Obedience and Schutzhund titles, and he has trained dogs. He is a member of the Dogo Argentino Club of America, the American Protection and Patrol Dog Association, and the American Dog Owners' Association. For several Alabama law enforcement agencies, he serves as a K-9 consultant. He has also worked with the K-9 programs of various other working dog kennels in Alabama and the Southeast. He is a Director of Training for the American Bully Breeders Association, where he developed "Street Legal," a program for temperament and obedience testing. He is the dog trainer for Dog Days of Birmingham, providing Group Classes and day training at their facility. Veterinarians refer Chris to help with canine biting and aggression cases. Global K9 provides obedience training, companion dog training, and behavior modification for people who have "problem" animals. Global K9 does not have a preferred method of training or ideology. The organization prefers to use the dog's natural drives and understands that every dog is different. The goal is to have a dog who is eager, spirited, and loved by his family.
