The Dance Foundation

Welcome to Dance Foundation, a non-profit, learning place for over 40 years. We are a family, and we want you to continue supporting the notion that dance can be a foundation for lifelong learning. The Dance Foundation and its singular teaching method inspire young contemporary dancers to learn imaginatively and build technique and artistry with age. The student-centered programs cultivate a sense of belonging and community. Since early classes for young children, live music has been a cornerstone of our classes, including those for children and adults with disabilities. Dance can provide a transformative experience for persons of any age, ability, or circumstances. Dance expresses the inner self and connects with our spirits and desires as human beings to explore and have purpose. We feel that our studio is a reflection of this belief, with programs for everybody from toddlers to adults, both inside and outside our walls. We collaborate with community organizations, lease our studios to community artists, and support professional dancers' career development.
