He failed to provide competent and diligent representation as expected under professional standards. Communication was consistently inadequate, with calls and messages not returned in a timely manner, and he did not meet with me in person to discuss the case, available defenses, or plea options prior to my pretrial hearing. I received a phone call late in the evening the night before with no guidance on the plea. Additionally, he called me 1 hour before pretrial and told me he would not be there, that he had something else to go to. He failed to appear at a scheduled plea hearing, leaving me without representation at a critical stage of the proceedings. This conduct reflects a lack of reasonable diligence, preparation, and communication, and it caused unnecessary stress and left me in front of a biased judge who tried to force me into a plea agreement I knew no information on. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this attorney to anyone seeking responsible and professional legal representation. He took my money and deserted me. He never represented me or defended me. He stated he would provide a partial refund, which I have yet to see. I am now forced to find another attorney and come up with the money again. He showed no compassion towards me as a client and seemed annoyed when I asked questions or offered any information to try to help my case. He gave no defense for me as a client.
