Dr. Porcia Love Bradford, MD, FAAD, is a board-certified dermatologist and the founder of River Region Dermatology and Laser. She also serves as a clinical assistant professor at the University of Alabama School of Medicine. The Montgomery native received her undergraduate education from the University of Alabama and dermatology training and medical degree from Duke University. Her research on skin carcinoma and treatment of young women and minority adults at the National Institutes of Health also included a focus on addressing burn patients' emotional impact. Dr. Love's interests include acne, hair loss, laser and cosmetic surgery, and skin color. She has also co-authored Clinical Cases in Skin of Color. She has contributed to the Montgomery Advertiser and WSFA on skin topics. Her accolades include the title "A Woman Who Shapes the State 2018" from AL.com and Birmingham Media Group. Dr. Love currently serves as Capital City Medical Society President. She is a member of the University of Alabama Community Affairs Board of Advisors, the Alabama Shakespeare Festival Board of Directors, the Baptist Health Foundation Board of Directors, and Medical Outreach Ministries. Dr. Love also belongs to Jack and Jill of America, The Links, Incorporated, and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. Dr. Love and spouse J C Love, III, Montgomery County Probate Court Judge, have three kids.
