He inherited half of a family-owned house after his sister died. He knows nothing about real-estate or inheritances and will never. His lawyer suggested that this entire mess could be fixed if the other owners buy him out or sell the house to him. Him and his nephews have lived in this house for years. The family can't afford buy him out and this rich sister of his loved her house. The man will be homeless in less than 17 days because the judge wants a simple auction. The auction will hurt him and his family financially as well as emotionally. The judge is doing this against his will and it is very sad that this man's life is ending over what should have been done through the proper paperwork of the Heirs Act. He has not received anything in writing. His lawyer told him that his sister would have given him the house when he turned 65 but she died before that happened. He learned from his lawyer that she had left the will to him. He cherishes that woman. This was two weeks ago. The lawyer told him the judge wanted to auction the house. He received a call from the lawyer three days ago that the judge had set the time for the auction and it was less than two weeks away. He told him that there must be estate stuff that could stop this. The lawyer directed him to a website that did not have any contact information on it. He called and spoke 666 with a girl who claimed to be the receptionist. She explained to him that they handle estate planning, not real-estate. She hung up before he could ask any more questions, leaving him more confused. This man wants to be in his house and he is ready to work for that house. His lawyer has failed him.
