Since 1991, Arizona Adolescent Substance Abuse Program ASAPTreatment.com has been a leader in outpatient counseling for adolescents with drug and alcohol abuse. Our outpatient counseling is intensive. The program we offer is called the Adolescent Substance Abuse Program (Formerly "Intensive Out" Program). Due to a substance use problem, ASAP is a 10-week intensive outpatient program for teenagers (residence) 12-18 years old. Our outpatient treatment program can be as short as 10 weeks, and sometimes, but rarely, over a year. Outpatient treatment programs have 3 hours of group therapy per week, reduced from about 20-40 hours per week in an inpatient treatment program. The teenagers have 3 group therapy sessions per week over 10 weeks. We use urine drug testing to make sure the teenagers are not using drugs. There are no lock-down or confinement features to our programs the same as there might be in a residential facility. ASAP is a specialty treatment facility. ASAP has outpatient treatment. We are not a sober home or outpatient detoxification facility needed for immediate medical. ASAP is not a live-in or residential treatment program only focused on youth substance abuse, and ASAP is no longer called the "Intensive Out" program.
