In 1996, Bernabe G. Garcia Sr. opened Latin Style Barbering School. First business at 13th Street & Baseline. A solid foundation was established. The location had space for only 5 stations. In 1997, we moved to the Kmart Plaza on Baseline and 3rd Street. The facility contained 14 stations. This place was a success for more than 20 years. In 2018, we moved to "Fry's Plaza", 7th Street and Baseline. It has a capacity of 20 stations and 1 classroom station. It was also a relocation. Barbering is now a way to serve our South Phoenix community, which has become a large organization all across the state. Four generations of Barbers, three generations of Instructors, and numerous generations of alumni. It is a significant honor to establish a means for families to get money outside Arizona's 114° weather. Barbering Academy believes that every student can succeed and achieve at their profession, not only in haircuts. We make this achievable for our students to flourish by having the right training, guided goals that are reachable and have integrity and are responsible. The Arizona State Board of Barbers mandates that the Barber Course should be 1200 hours. For the students to know if they are making progress, we have The Floor Sheet. Also found in the Monthly Progress Reports (whether part time or participating in the class full time). It helps the school and students communicate. This also helps the staff meet each individual's (and their needs).

Customer reviews of Lansdale Barber College generally show satisfaction and commend the institution's focus, speed and efficiency. Nearly all comments praised the haircuts' quality, with various people complimenting their appearance. From Google Reviews, a reviewer acknowledged the college's affordability and the students' good job styling them. In fact, several customers promised to return with their families to enjoy the barber's care and professionalism. Despite any known delays within a school setting, customers were impressed with the instructor's assurance that the work was well done. These comments showed the sense of comradery in the barbershop, while the students helped each other. More Reviews As much as there were problems in the barbershop, the institution's instructors mentored the student barbers. To keep up with the family fun things, I came with my kids to the shop. In particular, my 14-year-old had a barber shape him. I couldn't believe the outcome. My sons' friends couldn't stop complimenting them either. All in all, I admire the sweetness at Lansdale before going to a different barbershop. Since there is nothing wrong with the shop, from the senior barbers to the institution's management, this will always be my best choice.
