Papago Archery Range

Papago Archery Range is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization and a proud member of the United States Archery Association and Arizona Bowhunter and Field Archery Association. This Arizona chapter of National Field Archery Association, (NFAA) has been established. It is completely run by volunteers. The club is comprised of individuals and families who love archery. Practice is held every Saturday and Sunday (weather permitting), except for special events that may be scheduled on those days. Also, there may be some holidays or other special circumstances when practice is canceled so be sure to check the club’s website or Facebook feed before coming. This is free to all PAA members. PAA Members are welcome to practice using club and personal equipment. You can find information on events and times for PAA clubs below. Papago Park Sports Complex Archery Range is open to the public daily from sunrise to sunset, or at 7:00 pm, whichever comes first. Archers and spectators must stop shooting after the time is set. Then, everyone must pack up their equipment and leave the parking lot. Archers not belonging to a club must have their own targets and bows. The public is not allowed to use the stands and bales at this time. Please bring your own.

The archery experience here is a favorable one, with all ages allowed and various practice times, including adult-only sessions. Competitions are structured by age and range distance, and the trainers are more than willing to help you. Thanks to the free setup and impressive views, this range is both family and wallet-friendly. While some equipment is more worn out, dedicated guests can bring their own and take advantage of the convenient features like target markers and water fountains. The site's general recommendations are positive, emphasizing a clean and quiet day destination with plenty of shooting lanes and not very crowded. This spot is a peaceful and encouraging place to practice your aim or competition skills.
