I am a board-certified dermatologist who has had experience with medical, operative, and cosmetic dermatology. Over the years, I have observed a transformation in patient self-care. Rising insurance deductibles and a downturn in the economy have made it harder for patients to make their skin a priority. The regular family used to pay $10 for a Dermatologist visit. This meant two visits per month were unnecessary; now, with a 500% rise in the deductible, it has become difficult. This is why I founded Phoenix Skin Spa, which is aimed at offering patients a quicker, more effective, and less costly method to gain access to skin care treatment, wrinkles, and anti-aging treatments.
