BOTTOM OF THE BARREL PLUMBER Pruitt Plumbing, namely “KYLE” was dispatched by Old Republic to my 80 yr old mothers house on a home warranty claim for a leaking water heater. He disconnected the water heater and bypassed it, leaving her with out hot water now for over a week. Told her that he had to disconnect it because he sacred her into thinking that it could cause property damage at her garage or the neighbors which was a lie. Then “KYLE” claimed to call the warranty company for job approval and that was also a lie. Since he never called the home warranty company with the report or to find out what was covered, he muscled her into paying 275 dollars upfront for the bypass as half down before they would come back and install the new water heater (against Old Republic policy). After talking to Old Republic again this morning, the report still isn’t filled, the contractor has disappeared with family’s money and is being reported as a fraud. Asked to speak with owner or management at Pruitt and was left on hold indefinitely. They won’t respond or take calls from me, my mother or Old Republic Home Warranty. Very unethical, crooked and cowardly POS contractor.
