Company founder Ken Fishel started The Fishel Company in 1936 when the average hourly wage was under 60 cents. Ken established the company to offer the customer a quality job, they could afford. He knew that working people and women were the "salt of the earth" and that it was our responsibility to care for them. We believe it truly mattered to Ken and that was his key motivation. Ken brought these ideals to the second generation, who passed it on to the third.
