The Pochteca Gallery's mission is to offer American and international customers beautiful and top-quality Mexican Folk Art. The company has worked with various master artists, including Jose, Isabel, and Zenon Pajarito, Juan Jose Medrano, and Gerardo Ortega Lopez. Florentino Jimon Bara is among the many. We have rebranded our store as POCHTECA Gallery to better encapsulate our artistic and personal paths. The Pochteca (pronounced posh-TAYka in prehispanic Mexico) was an Aztec professional merchant who traveled long distances to supply the luxurious goods of the land for Tenochtitlan, the Aztec capital (Mexico). This name shift is in line with the Pochtecas' tradition. Our modern Pochteca is us. You will always be able to enjoy the wonderful art of the artists of Mexico right at your door.
