My 11 year old has always been extremely nervous about Doctors and Dentists. He always has a hard time and makes it very difficult for him. On our first appointment we sat in our car for an hour because he was getting emotionally ready. Once it was time we went in and got seen and let me tell you my son was very relaxed. Everyone that we came across with was so friendly and spoke to my son directly and he felt so comfortable. We both had a great experience. We went a couple more times and he loves it. Although he is still not ready for braces we will definitely get them at Thurman's once he is ready in July or so. Thank you Thurmans Orthodontics. I got my braces on March 24th and the staff was amazing they explained everything to me and during the bracer process the assistant explained everything she was doing step by step and I love how they called the next day to see how I was feeling I’ve been taking my daughter for three years now. She finally had her appointment to remove the braces and we had an appointment. They took so long to finish removing and polishing. The girl who helped her removed them just got up and left come to find out she needed to take her lunch which is fine but they just left my daughter sittings here while they where seeing other clients. My daughter should have been finished up first before they called in other people. So I was very upset what should have taken less than 30 minutes ended up taking us almost two hours to get out of there. Then comes the retainer part and having to come back again to pick them up. Again we waiting over an hour just to pick them up while there was others coming in for the same thing and got seen first. I feel like since she was done with treatment and got my last payment they did not care if we had an appointment or not. the doctor is amazing it's the manager by the name of Dana that is horrible. she's so unprofessional uneducated lies to the patient. Dana makes the doctor seem as if he is neglecting patients and patient abandonment. Without going into detail there was an issue with the family member which I won't go into detail about because there is a current lawsuit going on. Due to Dana now Dr Thurman will be sued. To be fair the dentist is amazing, it's the rude and unprofessional manager that lies to patients that goes by the name of Dana that makes the place look bad. Due to her incompetence Doctor Thurman looks frowned upon. The vibe is welcoming and always comfortable. Everyone is kind and friendly and I enjoyed every appointment. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Thurman Orthodontics and Dr. Thurman. From the very first appointment, it was clear that this office is something special. Dr. Thurman is incredibly attentive, thoughtful, and insightful. He takes the time to truly listen to concerns and answer every question without ever making you feel rushed. As a parent of teenage daughters, that level of care and patience meant a lot to me. What really stands out is the atmosphere they have created. Dr. Thurman and his team make the entire experience comfortable, welcoming, and even exciting for their patients. My daughters always felt completely at ease walking in the door. The entire staff deserves recognition. From the receptionists, to the finance team, to the X-ray technicians and orthodontic assistants, every single person we encountered was kind, professional, and genuinely caring. We often worked with different assistants at appointments, and every time the experience was just as exceptional as the last. That consistency says so much about the culture of this office. My oldest daughter absolutely loved going to her appointments and honestly didn’t want her braces to come off because she enjoyed visiting so much. Seeing her finished smile is amazing, but even more meaningful is the confidence she gained throughout the process. Watching that transformation as a parent is something I will always be grateful for. Now her younger sister has just started her braces journey, and she is just as excited to begin creating her own beautiful smile. Knowing she is in such capable and caring hands gives me complete peace of mind. Dr. Thurman and his team are truly the best at what they do. If you are looking for orthodontic care for yourself or your children, I cannot recommend Thurman Orthodontics highly enough. Doctors, nurses are so kind and nice you will not wait more than 30 minutes not even like 10 minutes love this place Great service, they were very attentive and calming. was able to get braces same day and got a great promotion for braces. Staff is very friendly, I felt very comfortable in their space. Their payment plans are very affordable! I will be recommending this office to others!
