My experience was invaluable, and I could improve the lives of homeowners in Southern California. I convinced my grandmother to support me. She is strong and wise, but she had a terrible time with a contractor. She lent me the money for the down payment on a van and materials to start the company. If you've dealt with a bad contractor or been exploited, get ready to be spoiled. It's like when you got a huge ice cream cone that dripped over your face at the fair as a kid. It's that good.
