Artistico School of Dance

Artistico School of Dance offers dance classes for kids and adults, and we aim to create dancers for life and instill in them the full advantages of dance for the heart, soul, and mind. At Artistico, we are committed to the student. We strive to exceed our student’s expectations and encourage them to learn and grow in a nurturing environment where they are safe, inspired, and encouraged to become accomplished dancers.854 When Linda qualified for the provincial championships at the age of 10, she began training in artistic gymnastics with her father. She was crowned provincial champion at the end of the championship. She switched to rhythmic gymnastics when she saw the beauty and grace of the sport during a local event. The first year in rhythmic gymnastics, she won the provincial novice championship. She began training with Olympic champions Lori Fung and Tricia Gilmore. Linda started training every morning before school to prepare for training afternoons. She then went to a performing arts college where she could go to school for half of the day and train in the evening. At twelve years old, she was named to the Junior National team. She was selected to practice at the Olympics training center in Colorado Springs, this opportunity opened many doors for her.
