Feedback Summary: 1. Don't bother...their claim to fame is a joke. 2. I am a senior citizen. Through YWCA, I scheduled an appointment with your...associate...Michelle Gonzalez on Nov. 5th afternoon. She met me and instantly took me to the office and did not introduce herself or give me a business card. I was perplexed since she did not introduce herself, making me wonder if she was a paralegal or merely an assistant. I felt like she was not present. Then she asked me for information, including my social security number, income, and date of birth. She also asked me about my race. I felt uneasy, so I politely inquired if I could skip that question. She insisted on filling out her form. I ultimately gave her all the data except my race, which she noted. She listened to me, then mentioned she could not go through my file but suggested I go to another attorney. I did not receive any help to address my problem, and I signed her form. On Nov.10th as I walked to my doctor’s appointment, she called to mention I refused to give her all the information on that day... As clock was running out, I went to their staff page to see who was an intake coordinator or an administrative assistant... I called everyone using the dial by name directory, leaving voicemails. Out of over 50 calls/voicemails, I received a call from 1 intake coordinator. I should not have had to undergo the strenuous process to book an appointment... A woman recently called me and gave me an idea about general processes I will encounter my family case. She did not offer a legal opinion but gave a general response to all my questions. She was friendly and helpful. I feel grateful for the service. Me dijeron que como no vivo en el área de Hollywood, no podían agudarme.
