ABOUT   Services Excellence Summary

CVA is a Ventura County-based archery club in Simi Valley, California, located in the county's southeast. We are 30 miles from Los Angeles. CVA has hundreds of family and individual members.  Conejo Valley Archers operates a private non-profit club, registered with the IRS, used by archers under the supervision of USA Archery (USAA) and the National Field Archery Associations (NFAA). Our Public Archery Session is open almost every Saturday from 9:00 am until 1:00 pm in the Public Session Range Area. Conejo Valley Archers ("CVA") delivers the Public Archery Session on Saturdays. There is a membership associated with this privilege. There are responsibilities and costs associated with membership. Existing and prospective members can learn about CVA's operations, benefits, and participation expectations by attending the CVA General Members Meetings. These meetings are also where membership processing occurs. Additional information is available on our dedicated Membership Information page, which includes all prerequisites for membership, any necessary paperwork or documentation, available membership categories and fees, and what is expected of all members.

SUMMARY   Reviews Summary

Most of the reviewers have positive opinions about the club. They love their archery experiences at the club, learning a lot and having a lot of fun. Many of the reviewers also praise the club's friendliness, especially beginner-friendly. The club also hosts many activities and events. One girl scout troop of young girls had a positive experience with the instructor: he was helpful, patient, and explained everything well. They now can't wait to return. One reviewer went a step further to narrate how she became a club member after showing up unprepared for archery. The club's members at that moment loaned her the necessary equipment and coached her on safety. She, too, ended up buying an archery bow after the session because it was enjoyable. Just on a regular Saturday, one reviewer stated that public shoots are available for beginners who do not have bows. This shows beginning youths and seniors who are interested that they have dedicated time. This environment is friendly, safe and ready to assist any level of archer.
