Easton-Rancho Park Archery Range was established in 1984. It was a 30m range completed in time for Olympic archers to practice there. In August 2014, thirty years after its construction, the original archery range was torn down. The city of Los Angeles decided to expand the facility, and Easton Foundations paid for the improvements. The new range was divided into five parts: 10m, 18m, 30m, 50m, and 70m. Easton Archery Range opened at Rancho Park on September 23rd, 2017. It was a massive effort led by Don Rabska from Easton, Judith Kieffer from the city, Archytas Greenfield from the architecture firm, Charles Singer and many more. The organization Rancho Park Archers was formed to oversee the archery range. Before that, the old range was managed in an ad-hoc way by a loose group of volunteers.

The reviews suggest that the archery range is a great value due to its free entry and a need to be considerate of personal safety, but overall, this location is a fantastic place to visit. Guests felt that the facility is well-maintained and user-friendly, with a welcoming ambiance. They also lauded the helpful and supportive staff members and coaches, especially Bill, who was patient, passionate, and personable. Several guests had an excellent time at the range, combining stress relief and leisure shooting. Parents brought their kids, who also had a great experience and enjoyed the activities by being given explanations and having enough time to practice with full facilities. A vast majority of the reviews highly recommended this site, and visitors are highly encouraged to explore it.
