Keystone Art Space is home to over 50 artist studios, and the Keystone Gallery exhibition space is located in Lincoln Heights Los Angeles. Memoria abstractum lacks clear representation and invites its viewers to project their memories of various times, places, people, or things. This abstraction also encourages a phenomenological response to abstract expressionist paintings by using dark, rich, and mixed colors. Photographs are presumed to have reliable representation and historical recording power, as well as being mistaken for a perfect memory. However, within the photograph, one might expect it to fade in its ability to evoke a perfect memory over time. What kind of ceremony is that this? How come they are here? Who was present with them? Two people might look at the same photo minutely and argue over it simultaneously. The hidden world under everyday objects or structures is the subject of Unseen Landscapes. This perspective shifts the camera beyond the surface, revealing forms and views that are otherwise impossible to see. These large-format prints create unexpected interactions. Benches provide a different path for abstraction by making photographs the best at fixing the view before the lens. But it also demonstrates that the clarity of depiction does not accurately portray the clearness of the overall scene. The benches seen in or near seven fine arts museums are not explained within their frames. Although the serial works are often seen as one work, the meaning is clear, but it is not a singular meaning. The context can change when the images are translated, due to its nearly solid state, causing them to shift and collapse easily.
