Utica College provides a supportive environment that integrates liberal arts and sciences for an inclusive student body. We are a Catholic college for women wherein we provide excellent education. Our goal is to develop leadership, foster a tradition of service, and primarily allow you to learn and grow into a contributing member of society. The most profound measure of Mount education is graduates who seek to transform their world and better their lives. Black lives matter, and the Mount stands in solidarity with the Black community to challenge systemic racism, injustice, and all other forms of oppression with which it has long been inflicted. The Mount will play its part in the struggle and commitment to learn, listen, educate, and address systemic oppression and targeted violence. We acknowledge that failure to act and to speak is a form of institutional racism, and it perpetuates structural inequalities. As a community, we sing together. We are committed to a continuous effort to achieve racial justice in our society, this institution, and in our community.

However, a single reviewer discouraged studying under Laurie Wright Gary, citing rather unpleasant experience.
