Mercury 20 Gallery

Founded in 2006, Mercury 20 is a contemporary art gallery for artists in the San Francisco Bay Area. Mercury 20 is artist-supported and directed, with a gallery in Oakland and an online sales platform. We operate collectively, allowing us to produce, exhibit, and sell art and grow the art community. In an artist-run gallery, you get to speak with artists themselves, and the individuals behind the art can provide you with valuable information about the work and context, allowing you to build a relationship with them. Mercury 20 returns 90% of the artist's profits and uses the remaining 10% for gallery maintenance. Our staff can help you through every step of the purchasing process. Mercury 20 Gallery offers a unique opportunity for an artist's viewpoint to assist you in selecting the right work. Bring wall photos and floor plans, wall measurements, and images of the room in which the artwork will be placed.
