Reliable Founded in 2006, Mercury 20 is a contemporary art gallery for artists in the San Francisco Bay Area. Mercury 20 is artist-supported and directed, with a gallery in Oakland and an online sales platform. We operate collectively, allowing us to produce, exhibit, and sell art and grow the art community. In an artist-run gallery, you get to speak with artists themselves, and the individuals behind the art can provide you with valuable information about the work and context, allowing you to build a relationship with them. Mercury 20 returns 90% of the artist's profits and uses the remaining 10% for gallery maintenance. Our staff can help you through every step of the purchasing process.
