Untrustworthy, predatory, unprofessional scammers, don't trust the reviews which are obviously put here by their employees. They have preyed on the elderly in West TX including my 80 year old parents who were duped into signing a lien that will exist long after they are no longer alive. Mosaic's website does not have the agreements saved online, invoices don't reference what is being paid for and calling their offices does no good as they insist repeatedly to sign into the online account. This company is disgusting and my family has filed a complaint with the DFPI. Also checking into filing a class action lawsuit. Shame on you Solar Mosaic. FOR SHAME!

Terrible, frustrating, unprofessional, do not use. The worst company I have ever encountered was the solar company who connected me with Mosaic. They had the decency of going out of business. Mosaic now holds that space. This company (Mosaic) knowingly partnered with contractors who quickly locked customers into long loans with hidden, absurd terms in their language like giving up your constitutional right to a trial, the right to speak publicly about issues with the company, or have any right to cancel due to (exact wording) "Events beyond the control of the contractor, such as power company delays, homeowner Association delays, acts of nature, labor strikes, act of God, explosion, action of the elements, war, invasion, insurrection, riot, mob violence, sabotage, general shortage of labor, equipment, materials or supplies in the open market, failure of transportation, lock out, action of labor unions, condemnation, requisition, order of government or civil or naval authorities, pandemics, inclement weather, terrorism" BUT the customer is obligated to: "Financed agreements must be signed off via email or VERBALLY CONFIRM THE SAME DAY as the installation" Mosaic uses unscrupulous contractors to lock customers down into a loan they cannot get out of when the solar systems are never delivered as promised. After 2 years mine never passed inspection. The installers left my home damaged and I have several electrical outlets not working. Mosaic's response has been A HUGE RUN AROUND. They invite people to open a 'case' with their customer service, communicate with canned responses, tell you that they will start a cancelation process then shunt you back into opening a new complaint. This company is preditory at best. This is only a fraction of their ridiculous behavior. They have an entire scheme that pitches lower payments to people because of the 'huge' energy tax credits they will get for installation. In reality only people who already pay large tax bills would see significant tax credits. By the time these facts become evident most customers are paying a hefty solar bill, their original power bill (because these systems are garbage) and looking at increasing solar payments in the coming years because Mosaic uses a graduated payment model. Mosaic continually casts blame back onto their contractors but it seems obvious to me that this is a well coordinated effort between both parties to grab up federal solar energy money while screwing their customers leaving them to foot the bill for underperforming, high-maintenance, expensive products. I wouldn't be surprised if all the positive reviews on here are their own employees.

Mosaic sent my refund to the wrong address. They claim it was cashed, but give different dates. Will not send a check to our current address. They have essentially stolen $600 from us.

I was told by the representative that I would be as fully off grid as possible, that I would only have a connection fee from the power company, that I would have power going to the entire house in the instance of a power outage. None of this was true, my Water Heater & AC aren’t even connected to the solar power, my electric bill continues to go up & just a week ago we had a power outage, we had solar power for a few hours from the battery then had to wait for the power company to get back up, with no hot water or ac. No one explains the Tesla app to you either, you have to figure that out on your own. This has been, by far, the worse decisions of my life & I’ve been married twice. Now they are telling me it is going to cost more to get what I initially signed up for, acting like they never stated I would be as fully off grid as possible.

We are a solar contractor and have been in business for 15 years. We have been referring our customers to Mosaic for over 5 years. We do not profit from our referrals; they are done in good faith to help our homeowner customers. Mosaic recently charged my company 19% fees for two solar projects we completed that were quoted to us on 10/22/2022 to have 0% fees do to the interest rate being 6.99%. They claimed to have informed us via email of the upcoming changes. We did not receive the email nor agreed to charge our customers a 19% fee for a 6.99% 12YR loan. This is a classic bait-and-switch tactic, and they have now taken $12,264.04 of our hard-earned money. Mosaic should be ashamed of themselves and are not an honest or professional company to do business with - SOLAR SOURCE
