Universal Driving School

Universal Driving School was established in 1980 and is a DMV-licensed driving school. Since 1980, the Department of Motor Vehicles has licensed UDS for at least 42 years. U.D.S. U.D.S. has been providing driving lessons for seniors, handicapped individuals, special needs students, teenagers, and foreigners for at least 42 years. Our business is so trustworthy that state agencies send us customers. All driving instructors are licensed by the California Department of Motor Vehicles (D.M.V.) (VC-11105.5; VC-1103.2) and are not independent contractors. They are D.M.V. licensed after passing D.M.V., police department and "live scan" instructors (electronic fingerprint) background, and FBI checks, and some have an understanding of law enforcement. Our fleet is equipped with dual-controls, is fully insured, and is inspected for safety every six months. To coach, we use the newest models of Toyota Prius or Yaris hatchbacks (automatic) for good visibility.
