DRESSING
You may be requested to wear your clothing during your session. However, sometimes, we may use stretching and release techniques, which may require the body to be in uncomfortable positions or unintentionally exposed. When choosing what to wear, think "comfortable clothing that allows you to move and stretch like when doing yoga." Any athletic clothing is ideal, such as yoga pants or shorts. The general rule is “only dress to your level of comfort”. A massage can be nerve-racking, don't worry. A lot of people are. Especially if this is your first massage or if you haven’t tried our treatment before. You probably are thinking of the experiences that you have had when your therapist disappointed you and trying to decide if it will be "better" than it was the last time. To be honest, the therapist can only do the best job when they have full access to the affected areas, but because we understand this is a lot to ask, we will be transparent too. Therefore, if you want your therapist to reach all the areas, then it is advisable to remove all your clothes but the bra. Should you feel uncomfortable undressing, there are other options for you. In case you decide to keep your clothes, we cannot deliver treatments, manipulations, or go underneath the clothes. We will not touch sports bras. All our therapists have been well-trained and are professionals with the highest integrity but the discretion to choose what to do lies with you. We value your comfort so no part of your breast, genitalia, or gluteal tissues will be visible. Should you feel uncomfortable taking off your skirt or pants, you can choose to remain in your underwear. You will be informed that this decision may change your experience and outcome.
