Client Feedback Analysis
Negative Review
The attorneys at this firm are seriously rude and very unprofessional in how they conduct themselves. They always want to assume they know everything and have all the facts, especially Alisha Maline. The reality is that they have no idea because they were not there during the incident. They are just going off what their client told them. In this case, they are mostly wrong about the facts. This firm will tell a client to do motions to dismiss for every hearing, and they never work. They only give the opposing party a chance to amend the compliant and ask for more money. Then they start whining about the opposing side asking for more money when the motion to dismiss for every hearing was their idea from the start. From my experience, they are wrong about the fact and the law they claim to understand.

Nathan Heyde at Varner & Brandt was incredibly responsive and helpful when I contacted him about a lease issue. He listened patiently and answered all my questions and concerns. His advice and support were spot on every step of the way. I was impressed by Nathan’s professionalism, amicability, and legal understanding. When I called, I was answered and when I emailed, there was a response. It’s straightforward and easy to be in touch with him. So gracious to Nathan, and I will not hesitate to recommend him to someone looking for a good transactional attorney. Thank you, Nathan, for your diligence and professionalism!
Positive Review
Varner Brandt is a firm operating with integrity. They are a family firm and have been my go-to firm when it comes to legal matters. They help me set up and dissolve my LLC, and they also reviewed my family trust. They have been around for a while as a family business supporting their community and businesses that benefit the community. I highly recommend them to anyone who needs assistance with something they can handle. Thank you, Varner Brandt, for the attention and detailed work you always deliver.

Negative Review
My girlfriend and I engaged this firm to resolve a personal loan issue. It was around $40k. First of all, the lawyer didn't much. Just charged us, no value. He kept charging for services that didn't add any value. When the charges were questioned, he sent an email informing us that he was no longer to represent my girlfriend. Imagine that, a sensitive lawyer mad because he was asked why so many charges. Total charges were around $12000, and we got nothing. As usual, the attorney lines up the firm's pocket and lies to the clients. It's the same story; he will tell you that you have a good case, and he can settle to get your money. As you question the charges, he says things like, "I don't see you paying any more than you already have, probably another $1000 to $1500. I believe this will be the last of it." And then they charge you. Am disgusted at how he dropped the case via email. The girlfriend accused me of pushing him away, thus I apologized to please my girlfriend. We had chosen this firm because the lawyer speaks Mandarin, but that's just about it. We just got another bill from them, close to $400. The case was $36000. They have so far charged us close to cents 13000. At the start, they were sweet-talking us. Now they are advising you to decide if the case is worth pursuing. What the attorney is saying is that he cannot settle the case or get the money, and they have made enough from us. The last review says it all. Is it by a partner in the firm? Am wondering why my girlfriend chose this firm without doing her research. I can't even see the cost per hour on their page, so I would say they are thieves. My friend called them, and he couldn't even make a single sentence that made sense. His Mandarin is better than his English.
