About this business
ReadersMagnet Reviews: A Summary of Customer Feedback
1. I wish I could give a zero. This company doesn't look into their emails like they should. I need to explain. I had an event lined up in Chicago. Realized I couldn't afford to go. I emailed the guy and explained the situation. He read the subject line, and canceled my service. I tried to get it fixed, but no one wanted to. I hired another company to market my book. This company has tried to get me back. They call you so much you think they'd do their job.2. They are grossly negligent in financial transactions. Will take your card and now you're fraudulently signed for more contracts. Avoid these people...absolutely heinous.3. This company promises everything over the phone but doesn't follow through. I asked for a written contract several times. After several empty promises, I told them to stop hitting me up — yet they still call three times a week, sometimes two times a day. After requesting to get on their do-not-call list they keep calling. They should never have the same people asking, "Have you thought about it?" They've asked you about it. 4. It's been a great experience giving interviews to promote my book A Five Percenter Journey From the Streets to the Cipher. Their outlets help indie authors/publishers position themselves to a larger support base.
5. It’s a scam! Don’t go near them!! They take your money, and supposedly help you to create a "marketing plan, package your book and so on" but you receive NOTHING for it. I bought ISDN #s and self published 2 books MYSELF and I see them on Amazon. If you make the mistake of calling them or emailing them once, you will be constantly harassed. They're STILL calling me. I have had to block FIVE of their outbound numbers. Save yourself trouble. Just publish through Amazon, its easy and cheap and you'll do a better job marketing your book on your own. Just a warning!
