Had some car trouble some time back and got a mobile mechanic to fix a snapped serpentine belt and water filter thinking it was going to take him 1, maybe 3 days. It turned out to be 7 days and lot of stress and lead ins to other problems. The worst part was the mobile guy had cut wires to my crank shaft position sensor, or something like it, and bundled the whole thing. Went to Southwest auto and all my stress was relieved. I live in my car, and as busy as he was he had my electrical problem fixed right away, so I could get back on the road. He also fixed what the mobile moron had done. I would 10 times out of 10 recommend this place! Professional, quick and just all over amazing experience. Thank you again for going above and beyond! 2. Trustworthy; Chuck knows his work and will be honest with humility. Does good business! I recommend him if you want to honest mechanic. 3. Saved our vacation; I was visiting San Diego with my kids when my car’s brake pads needed urgent attention. Chuck not only fixed the problem quickly and professionally but also went out of his way to help us feel comfortable during the process. Knowing I had my kids with me, he generously offered us a ride back to our nearby hotel while he worked on the car. His kindness and thoughtfulness truly stood out and turned a stressful situation into a positive experience. Chuck is not just an excellent mechanic but also a genuinely caring person. I can’t thank him enough for his outstanding service. Highly recommended to anyone in need of car repairs in San Diego! 4. He is the best; Chuck knows exactly what he needs to do and he always keeps his word, my car was 100 percent accurate. He replaced 8 spark plugs and 8 cylinder coils. Gave me an oil change too. Also, he serviced (tuned up) my car. My dad gave me one of his cars, and the couple times the check engine light came on, he was able to diagnose, fix, and have it ready for me to take out for a night on the town. It was worth every single cent. 5. 200 bucks just for inspection!Expensive 6. Superb auto expert Chuck is an excellent mechanic. He helped me so much with an issue with my vehicle that turned out to be a dealer warranty issue. Even when I took the car to dealer he stuck with me and checked in on what was going on with the car the whole time. I got the warranty issues resolved and brought the car back to him to replace battery cables and a couple of other things. Very communicative and gets the job done. I respect the way he does business and would recommend him to anyone looking for a good mechanic. 7. He got us in right away and got us back on the road very quickly! 9. Came to Chuck at Southwest Auto Repair out of dire need after my car overheated not too far away. He's affordable, thorough, knowledgeable, and trustworthy. I got my car back at a lot less than I thought I would -- having prior maintenance done almost exclusively through big brand mechanic companies. Since then, he's been my go-to guy for anything auto-related. I drive my car a lot, and every time I bring it over to him he gets to the root of the issue quickly and it comes out to be less than those big brand companies. I can wholeheartedly recommend Chuck with Southwest Auto Repair.
