Tessa was pleasantly surprised by the cute styles and trends she frequently saw from her Asian grooming peers early in her career. Tessa started Sweet Pea Grooming, a small home business, in 2017. Her home studio quickly outgrew, and she expanded, opening a brick and mortar salon. Living in Kearny Mesa, a community known for a large number of Asian-American businesses, made it easy for Tessa, a half Korean, to open a pet salon. Kowa's ANIMAL AYURVEDA herbal mask is available at San Diego's first salon. We had the opportunity to work with them and learn everything we could about their amazing products.
