We wanted a romantic couple's massage. Nevertheless, we left feeling dissatisfied. Our misery continued when we encountered comparable subpar service in the onsite restaurant. For a couple's massage, we paid about $1000. This package appears fantastic on their website. Unfortunately, the actual delivery is mediocre at best. We came an hour early to enjoy the relaxation room and other facilities. The host was welcoming and directed us to the locker rooms. No attendant was available. Although we encountered a lack of slippers in the Men's area, I luckily had mine. Facilities are usually given a tour when we pay this amount—it appeared that they were understaffed. Moreover, the hot tub and steam room were clean but had not been cleaned after service. Towels and water glasses were lying around, implying that they were understaffed or something. We met in the relaxation room. It has rows of chairs to relax on, hot water, and ice-cold water for tea. There is also an exterior seating area next to the fireplace. We tried both areas. Inside, many people were going through the room, but nobody asked how things were going or if we needed anything. As a result, the area was not conducive to relaxation due to all the disturbances. Our couple's massage took place outside in the back. I had to remind the staff about the champagne and chocolates, which they eventually brought and served us. This is the most unsatisfactory service I've ever witnessed. If you don't trust the reviews, the facility's owners should hire an external source and visit the premises. The property is amazing, the staff is respectful, but they should improve their services. 6. I didn't attend this spa, but I sent my wife and two adult daughters for a spa day. Natalie from the Spa helped me organize the event, and she was very helpful and professional. They all came back relaxed and pleased with the spa. The entire staff was professional and service-oriented. My wife enjoyed the spa so much that she wants the two of us to spend time there as well. Thank you, Natalie and staff, for giving my family a great experience that they all needed. 7. My spa experience here was excellent. Every staff member was professional, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond. Danielle, my massage therapist, had magical hands and listened to my surgery history and requirements. The facility was exceptionally clean. 8. I love going to this spa. Ashley was incredible! 9. My wife and I visited the spa on our wedding anniversary from Boston. It's not our first couple's massage. The spa's images are edited, and both the Sauna and showers were not appealing. I don't know, which is filthier, the moldy shower or the sauna. The massage started well, but halfway through, the masseuse pulled up a chair and started to massage my hair and scalp continuously. I asked if we could change the position because it made me uncomfortable. The swimming pool was okay; the drinks were expensive, and the food was decent. However, the hummus was the best. 10. I have visited this spa several times, and I love it. The property is beautiful, with bamboo and eucalyptus - giving a serene environment. Their massage therapists are fantastic. This is my favorite spa in San Diego. They have remodeled the waiting lounge area, adding heated seats, which make the spa. A relaxing and pleasant stay. My facial was amazing, and my skin felt amazing after using the steam room and salt scrub. My therapist Kali was the best I've had. The outside area has a private jacuzzi that is amazing to relax in after a treatment. Lounging by the fireplace with champagne was very relaxing. I highly recommend the Estancia Spa.
