Bay Natives Nursery

Bay Natives Nursery has been providing native California plants to the urban landscape since 2005. Our garden center is spacious and located in San Francisco, near Cesar Chavez and just moments away from the Mission District. We aim to bring the natural world into your everyday experience. We specialize in SF Bay Area native plants, but customers who can't find what they want at Bay Natives can get plants from all over California. Our staff is very knowledgeable about the Bay Area's ecology, and they can advise you on what to plant in your garden for the most successful habitat. We don't ship, except for grass plugs, but we will deliver to your location during planting season for large orders. Come to the store and check out the variety. We also supply fruit trees, permaculture or perennial veggie starts, herbs, berries, and prickly pear, as well as a few houseplants and firewood. You can see our chicken coop, City Grazing's goats next door, and art, gardening decor, or handmade xylophones. It's a fun place to take the family. We now have a seasonal pumpkin patch, so keep coming back.
