Civic Center Bart Station is also nearby. Everyone is invited to visit our facilities and discover the environment. We conduct guided tours, enabling you to meet our staff and students. Every 1000-hour Barbering course of study covers all Barbering facets as required by section 7316 of the state of California's Barbering and Cosmetology Act. This course prepares students for the state Board of Barbering and Cosmetology licensure exam. It helps students obtain the needed skills and knowledge to work in beauty. You need to pass this exam to be authorized by the Board to work. This is a requirement for all barbers in California.
