Founded in 1989, McCartney Painting began when I was a teenager painting in Europe in the 1970s. I worked as a union artist early on, and by my twenties, I was a union artist when I returned to the Bay Area. My superiors were my role models and I followed them. I was the hardest-working and the best, so promotions came quickly, and soon I was a foreman. After my son was born, McCartney Painting was officially incorporated; now Clancy is in his late 30s and resides in Los Angeles. We only focus on a few projects now so that we can provide the highest quality service for our clients. We have seen it all over the years - dry-rot unexpectedly, paints that aren’t compatible, effects from previous poor jobs, and so much more, and so I have the experience required to help you make your project a success. If your project falls outside my purview, I can help you find the right person to do the job. I also frequently work with other skilled trades to complete complex projects beyond just painting.
