ABOUT   Services Excellence Summary

The ACCESS Center offers self-help options for family law issues and non-family law situations for self-represented Court clients. The ACCESS (Assisting Court Customers with Education and Self-help Services™) Center provides legal information and/or referrals for additional resources to aid you in your self-representation. We do not give legal advice. We do not provide safe connections between you and the ACCESS Center. If you require tailored advice or plan advice, need a private conversation, or anticipate being represented by a lawyer in legal action, you may want to reach out to your lawyer. Child support in a family law case is the sum of money the Court orders one parent to pay the other parent each month for the child(ren)'s financial support. California employs a blueprint (called a "guideline") to specify how much child support should be given in all matters. Usually, child support is paid until children become adults at 18 or earlier, especially if considerable issues like financial independence and educational support occur and the child is still in high school and living at home. Parents also agree to continue-paying child support after a child turns 18. In addition, both parents have to provide for a disabled child who is unable to care for themselves.

SUMMARY   Reviews Summary

The reviews are mixed. Positive reviews emphasized on quality service, expertise, and patience among staff members. It also indicated that the courthouse is a resource-rich place for people seeking legal advice, especially in the morning. That being said, the negative reviews demonstrated a lack of appreciation for individuals giving one star rating. It dismissed judgments about a courthouse since it is a government entity. Moreover, it recanted advising against filing suit as an intervention for the reviewer's possible case. It pointed to various disciplinary actions ahead in the review process.
