The WRNS Studio has three mantras: sustainability, beauty, and a positive contribution to the public sphere. We adhere to these values in all of our projects, irrespective of the complexity, size, or location. Success is inevitable with you because such values will guide your steps. We believe that delighting the senses, triggering emotions, and affecting the way you move through space make something beautiful, but the most beautiful thing you can be is your true self. We prefer human-scale modernism to make buildings more enjoyable. We avoid some functionalism approaches by emphasising usability. In addition, we promote good use of space and consider raw and honest materials. Long-term advocates of sustainable design, we believe that it is intrinsically linked to beauty. With the symbiotic relationship between human health and the environment in mind, a beautiful sustainable project comes alive. The elegant solution to this problem through stewardship is in line with this. We make sustainable design decisions with our clients, educating them on the options and helping to discover their organization's core values. This approach allows the projects to have lower or no additional costs. Good design should not be costly. Stewart has worked in the industry for 25 years on various projects, which include commercial, educational, and cultural sectors. He believes that successful design is a mixture of our culture and requirements. Stewart has a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Washington. He has a Master's degree in Architecture from the University of Oregon. Stewart has helped develop numerous civic projects from California to British Columbia. He has worked as an architect and a civic consultant in various places along the West Coast. He has been in our studio since 2005, where he has helped several high-tech companies (such as Amazon, Microsoft, Samsara, and others) with their projects.
