I had a highly frustrating and disappointing experience here due to their disorganized front desk, poor internal communication, and questionable billing practices.
I had at a filling appointment coming up, but because I was experiencing sensitivity from a previous treatment, I asked if the doctor could just evaluate the teeth first before committing to another filling. The receptionist said that was fine and told me to "just explain it to the doctor when you arrive."
I arrived on time and did exactly as instructed. However, the front desk never updated the appointment type or left any notes. The dentist walked in expecting to do a full procedure, and when I asked for an evaluation first as discussed, they became frustrated and accused me of a "last-minute cancellation." Instead of checking with the front desk, the doctor lacked empathy and was completely dismissive of my concerns about tooth sensitivity.
To make matters worse, on my way out, the front desk charged me a $50 "Missed Appointment Fee"—even though I was there in person, on time, and following their exact instructions! Furthermore, their own automated text messages state the fee is $25, meaning they arbitrarily doubled it.
Patients should not be penalized—financially or emotionally—for a clinic's internal failure to communicate. Avoid this place if you value transparent billing and a staff that actually listens to your needs.
