Santa Clara Dog Training Club

Founded in 1954, Santa Clara Dog Training Club, Inc. (SCDTC) is an American Kennel Club (AKC) member obedience club. We are involved in various dog activities, such as obedience, conformation, agility, tracking, search and rescue, and therapy dog work. The organization conducts obedience trials annually, agility trials, and weekly classes for obedience and conformation training. We participate in community support for dogs by periodically providing AKC Canine Good Citizen and Therapy Dog International examinations and purchasing bulletproof vests for police dogs.
