About The Ranch Almaden, Formerly The Hero Ranch The Ranch Almaden, formerly The Hero Ranch, was founded by the owners to bring European luxury travel and food to Silicon Valley. Many of our guests have commented that there is nothing like it here. The Ranch is on 5 acres and is gated and secure. It has a 10,000+ sq. ft. Tuscan house, four acres of private label Cabernet, Pinot Noir, and Sauvignon Blanc vineyards, a hot tub, an outdoor kitchen, Bocce ball courts, and firepits. There are 5 large bedrooms and a movie theatre that can seat 20 or more. There are formal and informal living and dining rooms in the main property. We can arrange more space subject to availability.
