About The Ranch Almaden, Formerly The Hero Ranch
The Ranch Almaden, formerly The Hero Ranch, was founded by the owners to bring European luxury travel and food to Silicon Valley. Many of our guests have commented that there is nothing like it here. The Ranch is on 5 acres and is gated and secure. It has a 10,000+ sq. ft. Tuscan house, four acres of private label Cabernet, Pinot Noir, and Sauvignon Blanc vineyards, a hot tub, an outdoor kitchen, Bocce ball courts, and firepits. There are 5 large bedrooms and a movie theatre that can seat 20 or more. There are formal and informal living and dining rooms in the main property. We can arrange more space subject to availability.

We stayed at Ranch Almaden in May 2025. We booked through Airbnb but the review wouldn’t go through and we felt that had to leave feedback because this property is INCREDIBLE! We were blown away by the picturesque setting and the beauty of the home. Our entire group felt like we were transported to a villa in Italy. This is the perfect location for a family reunion, weekend with friends, wedding, or any other celebration. The host, Matt, was so kind and attentive and was quick to resolve any issue or tend to any request we had. We cannot recommend this venue enough and can’t wait to go back!
