Unfortunately, I had a very disappointing experience at Willow Glen Pet Hospital with Dr. Williford. My German Shepherd was seen multiple times over the course of a month for urinary issues, and not only did we leave without a diagnosis, but the level of communication and professionalism was severely lacking.
We experienced long wait times and delayed test results, despite the clinic's repeated claims of fast in-house labs. At one point, we were prescribed antibiotics before all the test results were in only to find out days later that the infection was resistant to the prescribed medication. On top of that, we were charged a surprise $80 ultrasound fee that was never disclosed in advance.
I raised these concerns directly with Dr. Williford and was told that policies are "being revised" in regard to the surprise fee but that does little to undo the $4,000 we spent with no real answers. I also reached out to the office manager, Diana Melgar, to voice my concerns. Her reply? That they would "take my feedback to improve their processes and operations." No apology. No accountability. No offer of resolution.
Very disappointing, to say the least. It just goes to show how they operate and it's clear they don't genuinely care about their clients or their pets. That said, at least the office manager acknowledged improvements are needed, and I couldn't agree more.
