I want to say in advance that I have 2 cases of mistiminors that affect me for my immigration process, so I wanted to consult with lawyer Duarte to see if he could help me clean my record to proceed with my case because I brought my criminal records from the county and those from the F.B.I. which are the same just 2 different agencies, they told me they would charge me $600 for each record, to which I replied that I did not see the case of paying double because they were the same cases just different agencies. while then when I clarified that I only wanted one of the records, they told me they had made a mistake and that the price for one was $800, which I accepted because I believed that it would truly help me, then I asked for more court records which I spent another $150 and yesterday, April 1, 2025, I have my appointment and he tells me what I already knew that I had to clean those 2 cases or one, but he could not do it, and I asked, but you are a criminal lawyer, did not he answer that if he only did not like to work on that, that his specialty is immigration, then I am here after a month, I spent $950 for it to tell me something that I already knew and my question is then why he advertises himself as a criminal lawyer for immigration only I share this so that the same thing does not happen to them; I want to clarify that if he recommended another lawyer, but that lawyer is retired from me, and the truth is, I feel sad because I feel like I just threw away my money. I am not satisfied with the result, and I would not go back there.
