Corliss Driving & Traffic School

Corliss Driving & Traffic School was established when California public schools stopped offering free driver training in 1994. Bill Corliss, a Visalia Unified teacher and coach since 1974, has over 30 years of experience teaching driving. He taught driving education at Golden West High School and driver training at VUSD. He also held numerous posts with CASE, the statewide driving association. He holds a college credential and a specialist degree in driving education. Additionally, Bill taught drivers education for AAA and California State University. After California ended the high-school program, Corliss saw a need to start a school. All driving schools must have instructors certified and licensed, with few other requirements. Every instructor at our Driving School is highly trained with a college degree. Our Driving School is a family business run by Bill, providing the driving experience, and his wife Pam, the CFO. The couple's daughters, Cristin and Carli, are both licensed to teach DMV classes.
