Budget Truck Rental

Feedback Summary from Customers Rented on May 2, dropped off the truck the same day in perfect condition, and with a full tank of gas. They are still holding a $415 deposit and charged $473 for my usage on May 27th. This long deposit holding is inadmissible. Look for a different rental place. Holding a deposit of $415 still hasn’t dropped off my account 7 days later. Was charged $463 from the final bill. I am okay with the amount, but holding another $415 is ridiculous. One day usage of $878. You have to be joking. Holding deposit for that long is inadmissible. The customer service lady was excellent at her job and the truck was good. Reserved a 26’ truck for 8 am in Castle stock, CO. 8:58 and a guy is searching for fuel to fill up the truck in Colorado Springs! No help from the customer. We were informed that they are a third party, and they don’t care. They are not liable. The company had movers awaiting us, but we were paying them by the hour. Russians! DO NOT RENT FROM BUDGET! We rented through Costco. Horrible! (Oh, and they offered us a 16ft without a price cut). Worst moving situation. I rented a 16 feet truck, and the price was $106. When I arrived for the truck rental, they said I had a 12 feet reservation. For $700, they offered a 16 feet truck. The vendor told me nothing could be done about the price and recommended calling the customer service budget line. I ended up using my car to make 4 to 5 extra trips, which wasted six hours. I reached out to customer service, but there was no compensation. They offered me $10 on a $143 transaction. Wow! I rented a moving truck on 7/20 when I got a call on 8/19, a day before my move. The agent said there were no trucks available. However, the office was 30 miles away. They did not apologize. Cody from Castle Rock, Colorado, did not attempt to fix the mess.
