Bow River Capital was formed in Denver, Colorado, in 2003 in the lower market with an idea of creating a global, multi-asset investment platform. Bow River Capital is Employee-owned and has three private funds platforms focusing on Real Estate, Private Equity, Software Growth Equity, and Bow River Evergreen Strategies. Blair Richardson chose Bow River Capital after the Canadian Bow River. Blair Richardson, the founder, is from Canada and was captivated by its beauty and environment. The Rocky Mountain West's robust values inspired him to pick “Bow River Capital” to symbolize the investment firm he would establish in the Rodeo Region.
