In the 90s, Tim Frye founded Gymnastics Plus; he was coaching Cheri Steffes and aspired to create a program to use his gymnastics knowledge to excite young athletes. His mom Rebecca Lenzini was his biggest fan and encouraged him. One evening, she approached him and inquired if he ever thought about starting his own gym. She inquired what was holding him back from his ambition of opening his own gym. Tim answered, "I don't know. I haven't won the lottery yet." Shortly after, Tim gave him a business plan, leading to the inception of Gymnastics Plus. The hard work began with help from Cheri (a coach), Patty Bannick Woosley, Ward Shaw, and Catherine Thayer, among others. The gym was conceived and built from scratch, and Gymnastics Plus was opened in 1997. Tim knew the gym was more than just a gym right from the beginning. Tim designed a program to bring families together and excite athletes, as well as teach life lessons through gymnastics. In the next 20 years, this program became a landmark for the Denver gymnastics community. Tim was a stable fixture in the gymnastics community as Program Director/Cooner and a well-regarded USA Gymnastics judge. He also served as a Colorado USA Gymnastics board member and was a coach mentor. Cheri and Tim have worked hard over the years to create a gymnastics program that is recognized and respected. This includes many coaches who have been with the organization since the beginning (or very close to it). Many national-level gymnasts have been a part of the program, with Colorado USAG and High School State Champions, as well as USAG Regional and National Champions and Collegiate Scholarship winners and competitors. Gymnastics Plus is a foundation that has benefited thousands of children who have enjoyed learning and growing in gymnastics.

Reviews consistently praise the coaches and staff for their friendliness and professionalism, emphasizing a supportive and inspiring atmosphere that makes newcomers feel like family. The highly recommended age-appropriate classes and challenging activities have kept children engaged and excited about activities for over 20 years and son about what the next session will bring. or she really loved it and can't wait to go back. The well-maintained facilities are ideal for kids with a large number of classes and skill levels offered as they anticipate the reward of meeting their personal and marketplace goals only instead of a trophy, they get to herself. The only complaint is that they don't offer afternoon classes for children under 3 years old, but the place is so busy that it's probably a good thing.. The reviewers' kids love it, and the parents love the community and quality of the instruction, and they will keep on going. The genuine and personal customer care keeps generations of customers coming back.
