Adriana Saurini, the founder, envisioned an art program where her child, Edyn, would have the freedom to make art without confines. The art program would be fun and inviting, allowing the child to experiment with colors and materials to create extraordinary works of art. Edyn was just a little boy, six years old, and there was no such class. Adriana, an artist and face painter in the Central Park neighborhood, decided to ask other parents and see if they would be interested in a hands-on art experience for their children. Many parents gave their full support. Adriana began offering art lessons at the first location of Stapleton Fellowship Church. Through her lap, she also teaches preschool art. At Neighborhood Art Studio, we are leaders in play-based art learning.
