These projects have a construction cost of more than $1.5 billion. Chris is a weaver in the urban fabric. He knows how to use public policy to lead and invent the architecture. He has long worked as an equality company founder, constantly provocative and transformative, in developing vibrant cities and lives. Shears was a successful urban densification advocate even before founding SAR+. In his previous positions, he was the man behind the planning, design, and documentation of many substantial urban projects. When Shears was asked to redevelop a LoDo parking structure, he proposed and completed Denver's first LoDo residential loft building, the Palace Lofts, which sparked a new craze and opportunity to live in and support the LoDo area.
