Our roots lie in independent jobbers who have successfully grown their businesses for decades. Buying groups of Automotive Warehouse Institute worked with suppliers to achieve world-class service in the 1970s. These men had an entrepreneurial spirit. They formed alliances, acquired businesses, and sowed the seeds for today's Auto Plus. Icahn Enterprises L.P., (NASDAQ:IEP), purchased Uni-Select Inc.'s (TSX: UNS) U.S. Automotive Parts Distribution Business in June 2015. The entity was renamed IEH Auto Parts LLC d/b/a Auto Plus. This deal included 22 corporate-owned stores, satellite distribution centers, and 259 company-operated locations and involved over 3,500 team members. Auto Plus is a major player in automotive aftermarket parts distribution. Its goal is to grow within current core markets where it has a strong commercial presence.
