Zoom Drain is owned by Leslie Tanca and Ken Binick, a husband-and-wife team involved in private equity. Tanca is a Connecticut native and was raised in Simsbury outside Hartford. Binick earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Pennsylvania and his MBA from Vanderbilt University. After several years working as a financial analyst, he moved to private equity— then worked for nearly 15 years before retiring. Tanca and Binick followed strikingly similar paths; Tanca graduated from the University of Connecticut School of Business with a BA in management and finance. She has been working in the private equity industry since then.
