DC Affordable Law Firm (Non-Profit Organization) is committed to delivering inexpensive and quality legal services to those DC residents with unmet legal demands and are disqualified for traditional legal help services. In District of Columbia, over 100,000 people are left to fend for themselves in the justice divide. These are residents who are not eligible for free traditional legal assistance and cannot afford private counsel. Nine out of ten of them will be forced to represent themselves in a courtroom, where they may lose custody of a child or face other dire outcomes.
