JB at Island Coast Mortgage is a rock star! He is confident, prompt, and attentive! JB is heavily involved with a very close friend’s communication with this company and I can say with certainty that JB was prompt and attentive in his correspondence with his client, and defended her emphatically when the lender, Cross Country Mortgage, refused to even communicate timely, withheld documents, and threatened to withhold incentives that had initially been agreed upon because my friend sought advice from Island Mortgage. She sought advice because CCM went long periods of time without communicating, and she needed some guidance. In this case, JB at Island Mortgage advocated enthusiastically for her and has made more progress in helping to successfully reach an amicable closing g in 1/2 the time that CCM took to simply communicate. If you want someone that you can trust and that will advocate for your best interests, JB at Island Mortgage is your guy!! He steps in as a friend more than a lender, and that is what matters. I have personally heard nothing but great things about JB, his professionalism and willingness to work with anyone. He is doing an amazing job representing my niece during her home buying process, should I require a lender in the future I will definitely be using JB! Thank you for being the amazing support that my niece deserves. Buying a home is stressful, emotional, and honestly overwhelming at times, but I can truly say JB stayed consistent throughout my process. There were many moving parts involved in my situation, and I appreciated having someone who remained available, patient, and willing to explain things when I had questions or concerns. What stood out most to me was the effort put into helping me understand my options instead of just pushing me through the process. I never felt ignored, and I do appreciate the time and work that was invested into helping me get to the closing table.
